Da Luna was founded by Hong in 2023 as a tribute to her grandmother, Luna, a woman whose spirit, warmth, and wisdom continue to shape everything the brand creates. Rooted in the belief that clothing can carry memory and meaning, Da Luna blends heritage with contemporary design to create pieces that feel both personal and timeless.

"Some of my earliest memories are of watching my grandmother mend clothes. We didn’t have much growing up, and garments were often passed down from older siblings. My grandmother would mend each one with such patience and care that it seemed to take on a new life.

Those memories shaped how I see clothing. I came to understand that a garment can hold memories, express individuality and carry the care of the hands that made and mended it.

With Da Luna, I wanted to carry that appreciation forward. We pay close attention to our materials, our designs and the craftsmanship behind each piece. To me, luxury lies in the thought, skill and passion that go into creating something made to be cherished and kept."
